Ask these 10 questions during your interview:

  1. How would you describe the ideal candidate for this position? Including characteristics that may be valuable but may not be explicitly mentioned in the vacancy?
  2. What measurable goals are there for this position and how do you notice this during your day-to-day work?
  3. What development opportunities are within reach for this position and how does the organisation encourage and support growth and advancement?
  4. What are challenges for this role, taking into account deadlines, familiarisation periods and the history of this position?
  5. Can you tell me more about the dynamic team and collaborative dynamics? How is specialisation valued and how can departments work together optimally?
  6. Are there any joint activities such as week-end or Friday afternoon drinks?
  7. Is there a joint lunch routine and are there fixed lunch times?
  8. What is the state of friendships among colleagues? How do these relationships contribute to a positive working atmosphere and effective cooperation?
  9. Does your company engage in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)?
  10. What is your personal view of the company culture and which aspects do you find most stimulating?
