The role

We are looking for an inspiring head of Learning & Development. You need to be an expert in developing and delivering professional, leadership and organizational development solutions, aimed at achieving the desired business outcomes. You will be reporting to the CCO directly.

You will contribute to Vibe’s program and project management and will play a big part in talent and development initiatives across our organization. For example, think about organizational design, talent planning, career development, leadership coaching and management excellence.

You have a collaborative approach to stakeholder management, engagement and cross-functional business relationships. You are able to provide leadership and direction for all corporate talent activities at all levels in the organization, ensuring alignment with our mission, vision, strategic objectives and annual performance targets. You are in possession of natural leadership abilities with proven sound judgement, outstanding critical thinking and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

The Head of L&D is responsible for 3 central pillars: the L&D strategy, the L&D team and the leadership and organizational development. You are responsible for:

  • Drawing up a clear international and scalable Life Long Learning vision and execution strategy;
  • Evaluating and improving L&D programs and processes in close coordination with senior management and stakeholders;
  • Process improvement and succession management;
  • Giving (didactic) advice to the management on their learning and development needs and strategic challenges;
  • Budgeting and forecasting, costs and benefits analysis;
  • Developing, implementing, coordinating and measuring all learning trajectories, interventions and training & coaching within Vibe Group;
  • Leading L&D trainers/employees by creating an environment of trust for them, having a clear vision and strategy for the team and coaching them to reach their full potential;
  • Maintaining contact with external suppliers and knowledge experts;
  • Leadership programs, coaching and development within Vibe Group.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience;
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree;
  • A real passion for L&D profession in a sales environment;
  • You are able to help the organization, leaders and professionals to develop at the behavioral, skills and process level;
  • You are a sparring partner for the directorate;
  • You have a strategic mindset and the ability to translate complex business challenges into effective learning solutions, while at the same time feeling comfortable being hands-on as you build L&D and the L&D team and improve didactically in a rapidly scaling organization;
  • You have extensive experience in coaching leaders and (sales) professionals;
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent in Dutch and English;
  • Residing at Amsterdam area.
